How NFL Maxout works
NFL Maxout rewards long-term strategy. Every week, you'll choose one NFL team and bank the points they score if they win. The catch? Once you've used a team, it's gone for the rest of the season.
Here's how it works:
- Create your pool and invite your friends, family, coworkers, or league mates.
- Pick one NFL team each week.
- If your team wins, you'll bank every point they scored.
- Once you've used a team, you can't pick them again.
- If your team loses, ties, or you miss the deadline, you'll score zero points for that week.
- The player with the most points after Week 18 wins the pool.
Unlike fantasy football, there are no drafts, waiver wires, or trades to worry about. Your focus is entirely on maximizing points and deciding when to use the NFL's best offenses.

Example: how scoring works
Let's say you pick the Eagles in Week 1 and they beat the Cowboys 31-20. You'll bank 31 points and move up the standings, but Philadelphia will no longer be available for the rest of the season.
Meanwhile, your friend picks the Ravens, but Baltimore loses. They'll score zero points for the week, but they'll still be alive and can try again in Week 2.
By the end of the season, the player with the most points wins the pool.

Common questions
How does scoring work?
Each week, you'll pick one NFL team. If that team wins, you'll earn every point they scored in the game. For example, if the Lions win 34-17, you'll bank 34 points. If they lose or tie, you'll score zero points for the week. The player with the most points at the end of the season wins the pool.
Can you use the same team twice?
No. Once you've used a team, that team is no longer available for the rest of the season. Part of the challenge is deciding when to use the NFL's best offenses and when to save them for later matchups.
Does the pool handle money?
No, never. We track picks and banked points only — your group settles any stakes privately.
What if I lose my link?
Sign in with the email you used and your pools and entries come back automatically. Without an email on file, the link itself is the only way back in, so hang onto it.
Can I reuse a team I already picked?
No — each team can only be picked once across the whole pool, so save your best bets for weeks that need them.
Can picks be changed after kickoff?
No. Every save gets a fingerprint you can post in your group chat before kickoff — after that, anyone can check your revealed pick against it, so nobody (including us) can quietly change what you picked.
What happens if I forget to make a pick?
If you don't submit a pick before kickoff, you'll receive zero points for that week. You'll still remain in the competition and can make another selection the following week.
