Free NFL teaser pool — pick 4, cover them all

A teaser shifts every spread in your favor by 14 points by default — the commissioner can adjust it. Pick 4 teams from the week's frozen board and all 4 must cover to clear the week. Because the lines move so far, both sides of a game often cover too, so most weeks the only real question is which teams won't get blown out. No signups, no money, just points.

How NFL Teaser works

  1. 01

Pick Teaser Pick'em and name your pool. You get a commissioner link — keep that one.

  2. 02

Share the plain link with your group. Friends join by typing a name, nothing else.

  3. 03

Lines freeze before each week opens (Thursday by default), and picking opens the moment they do.

  4. 04

Pick 4 teams from that week's frozen board, one side per game — each pick's spread shifts in your favor by the tease, 14 points by default.

  5. 05

All 4 picks have to cover their teased line to clear the week. One loss busts it, and too many losses in one week costs points too.

  6. 06

Picks stay sealed until the week locks, then scores update automatically as games finish. Check the standings anytime.

Commissioner settings

Your pool, your rules.

Sensible defaults out of the box, with the settings commissioners actually use. Change any of it mid-season — Comped re-scores instantly.

  • Adjust the tease from 14 points to whatever your group wants.
  • Change how many teams get picked each week, instead of the default 4.
  • Pay fixed points for every cleared week, or split a weekly point pot among everyone who clears that week.
  • Move the odds freeze earlier or later than the Thursday-midnight default.

Common questions

How does scoring work?

Pick 4 teams (the commissioner can change that number) from that week's frozen board. Each pick's spread shifts in your favor by the tease — 14 points by default. All 4 picks have to cover their teased line to clear the week; one loss busts it, and losing at or beyond the commissioner's penalty threshold (2 losses by default) costs points on top of that.

Wait, can both sides of the same game cover?

Yes — and that's the point of the game, not a bug. With a 14-point tease, both sides cover whenever a game is decided by less than 14 points, which is most weeks' games, not a rare edge case. That's what makes teaser pick'em forgiving: most members clear most weeks, and the real question each week is just which teams won't get blown out.

Can I pick both sides of the same game myself?

No — one side per game, always. Taking both sides of the same matchup is blocked outright, since it would guarantee a near-certain double cover.

What happens on an exact push?

If the final margin lands exactly on your teased line, that pick voids instead of counting as a win or a loss — it doesn't clear the week by itself, but it doesn't bust it either, and your other picks can still clear it.

When do the lines freeze, and can they move after that?

Before the freeze (Thursday at midnight Eastern by default) there's nothing to pick — we never show a number that might still change. At the freeze, that week's lines snapshot and picking opens; from then until the deadline (Sunday 1pm Eastern by default), the lines are locked, so the number you see is the number you're graded on.

Does the pool pick my teams for me?

No. There's no autopick — you choose all 4 of your own picks, every week.

Fixed points or a split pot — how does that work?

The commissioner chooses one for the whole pool. Fixed mode pays a flat point bonus for every week you clear (and a point penalty if you bust badly). Split mode pools a set number of points each week and divides them evenly among everyone who cleared it — nobody clears, and the whole pot rolls into next week's.

Do my friends need to create an account?

No. Joining and picking only needs a name — no email, no password, no app to download.

Does the pool handle money?

No, never. Everything here is scored in points, never dollars. If your group plays for stakes, you settle up between yourselves however you normally would.

What if I lose my link?

If you signed in with your email at any point, sign back in and your pools and entries reappear. If you never signed in, the link is the only key, so it's worth saving it somewhere.

Can picks be changed after the week locks?

No. Every save gets a fingerprint you can post in your group chat before the week locks — after that, anyone can check your revealed picks against it, so nobody (including us) can quietly change what you picked.
