Bally’s

Overview

Located at 1900 Pacific Ave., Bally’s Atlantic City is one of the biggest hotel-casinos on the Atlantic City Boardwalk but may not remain so forever.

Total gaming space (including both casino floors) is shy of 190,000 square feet, which rivals some of the biggest properties in the world, yet it’s gradually shrinking. As casino revenue dipped in recent years, some gaming space was sold off to make room for other revenue streams like retail and entertainment.

The timeless adage of bigger does not always mean better applies to Bally’s too; one can certainly point out several flaws. Though advertisements for rooms in the Jubilee Tower may tout ultra-modern style, the supposed luxury rooms are 300-350 square feet and lack the modern in-room technology some have come to expect. With that said, full-price weekday rates, even at peak summer times, generally stay below $100 per night.

Primary

Bally’s has all the attractions of a complete resort: plenty of bars, a pool, spa, and shops. The variety of watering holes keeps the experience of knocking one back lively. The Lobby Bar and Wild Wild West bars both serve 24 hours a day. Harry’s Bar and the Beach Bar (open May through September) offer their own themes and scenery.

One will find a wide variety of gaming opportunities at Bally’s: classic slots, table games, poker, and new games alike. Last reported, Bally’s has a full range of video poker titles and denominations, including 9/6 Jacks or Better, which is a pleasant change of pace from the usual Caesars Entertainment offerings.

In an effort to boost gaming revenue, Bally’s has focused on Asian gaming, highlighting a plethora of titles. Players will find 5 and 50 Dragon Deluxe, Choy Sun Doa, Choy Sun Returns, and Fortune King on the gaming floor.

Bally’s has a competitive 42-table, WSOPclass poker room that hosts around-the-clock cash games, daily tournaments, and is home to a regular WSOP Circuit stop. The room has 20 TVs, table-side food service, free wifi, and also free parking.

Online

As a Caesars Entertainment property located in New Jersey, patrons are automatically part of the largest legalized and regulated online gaming environment in the US.

WSOP.com, HarrahsCasino.com, and CaesarsCasino.com offer New Jerseyans and visitors 21 and older the opportunity to play online poker, slots, or table games via PC, Mac, tablet, or smartphone. Geo-location technology and public data systems are used for verification purposes. Deposits and withdrawals to or from online gaming accounts can be made a variety of ways, especially at Bally’s main cashier. Players earn loyalty status and perks just like they would on Bally’s casino floor.

Rewards

As part of the Total Rewards network of Caesars Entertainment casinos, Bally’s offers customers many opportunities to advance through the loyalty tiers: beginning with Gold, moving to Platinum, Diamond, and ultimately Seven Stars. Virtually all spending at the property counts toward earning rewards credits and improved offers for stays at all TR properties.

Total Rewards has a list of travel partners and even a Total Rewards Visa, which grants instant Platinum status. The list is dynamic, so check the website periodically, or stay connected by email for updates.

Total Rewards Air is a modern junket program, bringing visitors to Atlantic City and other major casino destinations around the US and Canada. Nearly free flights and hotel rooms with dining discounts and free/match play are within reach for even the modest low-roller.

If you’re not already a Total Rewards member, sign up for free online or at any Caesars Entertainment casino. The most important part of all is not to spend a penny or gamble without it. It never hurts to make sure you’re not missing out on the perks and rewards you deserve.
