Borgata

Overview

Opened in 2003, The Borgata has consistently been one of the top-earning casinos in Atlantic City. Owned by MGM Resorts International, The Borgata separates itself from other MGM properties by having its own customer loyalty, junket, and charitable programs. The resort’s comedy club, poker room, and notable steakhouses keep guests returning from all over the world.

Primary

In total, The Borgata has about 2,800 hotel rooms, many of which have been renovated since opening. In 2008, The Borgata completed The Water Club, which added 800 hotel rooms, 18,000 square feet of meeting space, and a luxury spa and salon. With the closing of Revel, The Water Club is now the third tallest (actively used) building in the city.

The enormity of The Borgata naturally extends to the casino. The 161,000-square-foot gaming floor includes well over 3,000 slot machines, 180 table games, and 50 poker tables. Though New Jersey doesn’t have legalized sports betting, The Borgata does offer serious race bettors and novices alike a first class experience with its 100-seat racebook. It runs a series of handicapping contests on select Saturdays throughout the year. Participate in three of the five contests for a chance to win a $10,000 grand prize. Whether your style is to grind the contests or simply grab a drink at Boot N Whip and be a part of the excitement, The Borgata racebook is a good fit.

Unequivocally, The Borgata is one of the best places to eat on the city’s waterfront. Visitors have several choices when it comes to fresh, authentic cuisine courtesy of world renowned chefs Michael Symon, Bobby Flay, and Wolfgang Puck. The Borgata also offers a plethora of casual and quick service dining options — most open late — to satisfy after-hours hunger. Bread and Butter has a varied coffee shop menu and is open 24 hours.

Online

As an MGM Resorts property, The Borgata partners with PlayStudiosMyVegas online and mobile free-to-play gaming platforms. Those of legal gambling age can download the app or play via Facebook and potentially earn real rewards, like complimentary show tickets, meals, hotel rooms, and travel.

Ready to take your online gaming experience to the next level? The Borgata offers real-money online casino gaming through casino.borgata.com and poker.borgata.com. The Borgata Mobile App is also available in mobile app stores. To gamble, one must be physically located within New Jersey and beat least 21.

Depositing and withdrawing funds can be done electronically or by visiting the main cashier on the Borgata property. While actual game play must be done from New Jersey, banking (deposits and withdrawals) can be done from anywhere. Funds are always in US Dollars and must be sent from or to US financial institutions. At this time, The Borgata will not mail checks related to online gaming internationally.

Rewards

Signing up for My Borgata Rewards is crucial. In addition to room offers and food comps, all My Borgata Rewards members are entitled to combine comp dollars with friends and family and are regularly rewarded with invitations to exclusive parties and events.
