Tropicana Honoring Veterans, Throwing Ultimate Halloween Celebration

Veterans Day is less than a month away, and Tropicana Atlantic City is getting ready to honor those who serve with a variety of specials for veterans and active duty military.

Notably, Tropicana Atlantic City will light the cupola at the top of its Havana Tower and its interior fountains within The Quarter green to honor America’s veterans.

Veterans and active duty military discounts

Additionally, veterans and active duty military will be able to enjoy exclusive offers on dining, retail, and entertainment on Sunday, Nov. 11 and Monday, Nov. 12.

The food and beverage specials include:

  • 20 percent off food at Olón, Okatshe, and Chelsea Five Gastropub;
  • On Sunday, Nov. 11 only, 20 percent off entire purchase at Mrs. Fields;
  • Retail specials include 10 percent off regular-priced items at Erwin Pearl from Nov. 9-12.

Entertainment and nightlife specials on Sunday, Nov. 11 only include:

  • Reduced admission at Anthem
  • Up to four $10 IMAX Theatre movie tickets

Tropicana also offers veterans and active duty military year-round discounts. These include 15 percent off room rack rates Sunday through Friday and various other food and beverage discounts.

Please note a valid military ID is required to receive all specials and discounts.

Ultimate Halloween Celebration

But let’s not look past Tropicana’s special events for October. The casino’s Ultimate Halloween Celebration is set for Saturday, Oct. 27.

It will include a Halloween-themed light and sound show and The Rocky Horror Picture Show ‘Time Warp’ dance on the Boardwalk, plus a variety of giveaways and costume contests with prizes, food, drink and shopping specials.

The party starts at 7:30 p.m. local time on the Boardwalk and continues inside the resort from 9 p.m. onward. The event will be hosted by SoJO 104.9’s Heather DeLuca and JV Joe.

The costume contest begins in The Quarter’s Fiesta Plaza at 9 p.m. “Best Overall Costume” wins a $500 Tropicana gift card. Then, “Scariest Costume” wins an overnight stay with gourmet dinner for two and IMAX tickets. Additionally, “Best Group Costume” winners will each receive a $50 Tropicana gift card. Again, Heather DeLuca and JV Joe will judge the contest.

A special one-time screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show will be held at the IMAX Theatre at 11 p.m. Tickets are $10 each.
