Tropicana Celebrates Mother’s Day With Annual Look-A-Like Contest

Tropicana Atlantic City will be celebrating Mother’s Day in a rather familiar way this year.

The Atlantic City beach and Boardwalk gaming destination will host the sixth annual Mother/Daughter Look-A-Like Contest on Saturday, May 11. Of course, Mother’s Day falls on Sunday, May 12 this year.

Tropicana is hosting the contest in association with 95.1 WAYV from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. inside The Quarter entertainment and shopping complex on the property.

Diane Mitchell of the Mike and Diane Morning Show will serve as emcee. Ultimately, a panel of esteemed judges will make the call on which Mother/Daughter duo looks the most alike.

Mother/Daughter Look-A-Like Contest prizes

Tropicana will give the winners an overnight stay and dinner for two at the Italian cuisine restaurant Il Verdi. Plus, a pair of Celine Dion tickets and a family 4-pack of tickets to Atlantic City Cruises Dolphin Watch.

Plans are to give the runner-ups a pair of tickets to see Jennifer Lopez and dinner for two at Tropicana’s mandarin cuisine restaurant Golden Dynasty. Plus, a family 4-pack of tickets to Atlantic City Cruises Dolphin Watch.

Finally, Tropicana will give the second runner-ups a family 4-pack of tickets for an upcoming movie at Tropicana’s IMAX Theatre. Plus, four tickets to Atlantic City Cruises Dolphin Watch.

Additional Mother’s Day giveaways

WAYV also plans to offer more prize giveaways to anyone in attendance. Plus, Bluemercury Spa is offering complimentary chair massages to attendees.

The Mother/Daughter Look-A-Like Contest also features a free meet and greet with Miss New Jersey Jamie Gialloreto. Plus, Tropicana is offering rosé specials throughout as part of Tropicana’s Rosé Every Day in May promotion.

Mothers and daughters wishing to enter the contest can register online. Onsite check-in is set for 11 a.m.

Tropicana is also accepting walk-up entries at The Quarter from 11:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
