Resorts Atlantic City is planning a huge weekend full of promotions and activities surrounding Memorial Day this year.
The first legal casino on the Atlantic City Boardwalk is hosting a summer kick-off event all Memorial Day Weekend long. It will feature a variety of live music, contests and games on the boardwalk. The festivities begin at 10 a.m. local time Friday, May 25 and last all weekend. Events include:
- WMMR radio broadcasts live from Resorts Atlantic City
- Contests and games on The Boardwalk
- Strolling Entertainers
- Drink specials and DJs at Bar One
- Giveaways
- Special appearances by Resorts Showgirls
Resorts is also hosting its fifth annual Beach Ball Drop on May 25 as a part of the summer kick-off. More than 5,000 Hot Summer Fun beach balls will drop over the boardwalk at 5 p.m.
Food and frozen concoctions from Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville and LandShark Bar and Grill will follow.
Village People at the Superstar Theater
Further highlights include a Village People concert May 26 at 8 p.m. inside the Superstar Theater. Tickets are available online through Ticketmaster starting at $45 each.
Plus, patrons will have the opportunity to get lucky on the first-ever slot machine in Atlantic City. From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on May 26, Resorts is offering the chance to win up to $2,500 in slot cash with a free pull on Atlantic City’s first-ever slot. The slot machine is located outside the Margaritaville Lobby.
Additionally, Resorts is giving away a 40th Anniversary long sleeve t-shirt to all Star Card loyalty club members who earn five tier points Sunday, May 27 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. The shirts are available in the Horizon Room while supplies last.
Finally, visitors can enjoy a fireworks show celebrating Resorts’ 40th Anniversary starting 9 p.m. Sunday, May 27.
2018 Jeep Wrangler Guaranteed Sweepstakes
There’s also still time to get in on 2018 Jeep Wrangler Guaranteed Sweepstakes.
Star Card loyalty club members can earn entries into the drawing for the vehicle through Memorial Day. Players will receive a single entry into the sweepstakes for every Star Card Tier Point earned playing slots or table games.
The 2018 Jeep Wrangler Guaranteed Sweepstakes drawing is set for May 28 at 4 p.m.

Membership in the Star Card loyalty club is free for all and open to anyone 21 years of age or older.
