Borgata’s Mother’s Day sweepstakes
Events begin right out of the gates with the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa Mother’s Day Weekend Sweepstakes. The sweepstakes will be held Saturday, May 13 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Borgata is offering the chance to win a Rolex watch, cash, and slot dollars good for use on the property. For automatic entry into hourly drawings, players need only insert a My Borgata Rewards card into a slot machine or check in at any table game from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The prizes are as follows:
- 1st Place: Rolex
- 2nd Place: $2,000 cash
- 3rd Place: $1,000 cash
- 4th Place: $500 cash
- 5th-6th Place: $250 bonus slot dollars
- 7th-10th Place: $100 bonus slot dollars
Music at Boardwalk Hall and The Tropicana
After the afternoon and evening sweepstakes, players can celebrate at the Atlantic City Boardwalk Hall’s Ninth Annual Mother’s Day Music Festival. The festival stars Maze and will feature Frankie Beverly, Gladys Knight, KEM, and Carol Riddick. The show is set to begin Saturday at 7 p.m.
It promises to bring the best of classic R&B to Atlantic City with ticket prices running from $50 to $140.
However, the party will not end when the concert is over. Bally’s Hotel & Casino is hosting the Mother’s Day Music Festival 2017 Official Afterparty from 11 p.m. until 4 a.m. This event will be hosted by Lady B and Patty Jackson. It will feature DJs Gary O and Touch Tone. Tickets are $25.
If that’s not enough, Tropicana Casino and Resort is hosting a music festival of its own the following day. The Mother’s Day Music Festival: Featuring Stephanie Mills with Special Guest Troop begins at 6 p.m. on Sunday with ticket prices ranging from $55 to $75.
Mills is a Grammy-winning R&B, gospel, and soul recording artist with five bestselling albums and ten Billboard #1 singles. Her most notable hit is the platinum single “Never Knew Love Like This Before.”
Troop were teen artists who won the nationally televised Puttin’ on the Hits lip sync contest. The Pasadena, California-based group went on to land five number one singles on the Billboard R&B charts.

In the meantime, the chance to walk into an Atlantic City hotel and drive out in a brand new car continues at Harrah’s Atlantic City through Mother’s Day.
The Ace of Cars promotion allows Total Rewards cardholders to enter drawings for one of three brand new cars. Entries can be earned until the May 27 drawings. Other prizes include $1,000 in free slot play.
