Early-Christmas Grinches be damned, the festive season kicked off at Tropicana Atlantic City on Friday, Nov. 16 with the official Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Musical Light Show in The Quarter. That was just the beginning.
Jingle: A Magical Holiday Spectacular
Firstly, the holiday season fun continues with Jingle: A Magical Holiday Spectacular playing in the Tropicana Showroom from Nov. 25 through Dec. 21. Additionally, the cast of the holiday show will head out to the Boardwalk Saturday, Dec. 8 to lead Tropicana Atlantic City’s Annual Holiday Sing-Along.
The Sing-Along on the Boardwalk will feature Tropicana’s Multimedia Light and Sound Show and live entertainment. Additionally, the Jingle cast will lead the chorus for all the holiday classics, and giant screens will display song lyrics.
There will be complimentary Garces & Son coffee and homemade hot chocolate from Olón by Jose Garces, so guests can stay warm. Additionally, Mrs. Fields Chocolate Chip Nibblers and popcorn from the IMAX Theatre at Tropicana Atlantic City will be available.
Finally, guests who bring a new unwrapped gift to the Sing-Along for Tropicana’s toy drive will be entered for a chance to win a $250 Macy’s gift card.
In the meantime, the Tropicana showroom has been transformed into a magical winter wonderland for the holiday show. Jingle: A Magical Holiday Spectacular features dancers in holiday costumes, singers, ballerinas, and dancing soldiers. Plus, Atlantic City favorites Kevin and Caruso, special guest Lady Hellevi, and award-winning choreography and costume design from Mistinguett are all part of the show.
The 35-foot holiday tree in The Quarter
Of course, the 35-foot, ornately decorated tree in The Quarter is already glowing with festive lights synchronized to the sights and sounds of the season. The casino hosts light shows at the tree every hour on the hour. They begin at noon each day and will run through Thursday, Dec. 27.
A visit to Tropicana Atlantic City gives patrons the chance to pick up what the property claims are the best holiday gifts around. Customers can redeem Tropicana gift cards for overnight stays, dining, shopping, and entertainment throughout the property. Guests are welcome to purchase gift cards at the front desk located on the first floor of the South Tower.
