If you’re in Atlantic City during the running of the 144th annual Kentucky Derby, there may be no better place to watch the most exciting two minutes in sports than Golden Nugget Atlantic City.
That’s because the Atlantic City Marina-area casino and hotel is running a $15,000 Free Play Hot Seat promotion on Derby Day. It will see 30 winners randomly selected to each win $500 in Free Play.
Plus, there’s a bonus prize for all winners found wearing Derby-themed attire.
Derby Day is Saturday, May 5
The $15,000 Free Play Hot Seat promotion will run Saturday, May 5 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Players must be playing a slot machine or table game with a valid ID and 24 Karat loyalty club card during the drawings to win. Winners can be selected more than once. However, all Free Play will expire at 5:59 a.m. local time on Sunday, May 6.
Of course, the promotion will run through post time for the Kentucky Derby. The race is scheduled to start at 6:46 p.m.
May is also a month filled with promotional opportunities at Golden Nugget Atlantic City.
Golden Nugget 24K Select Club card holders can boost their efforts to maintain or increase their status by taking advantage of a number of Bonus Tier Credit days. Plus, there’s a chance they could drive away in a 2018 Dodge Ram or collect $1,000 in Free Play.

The Bonus Tier Credit days will run every Sunday and Tuesday in May. Plus, the Bonus Tier Credits are also available Monday, May 28.

Finally, Golden Nugget Atlantic City is running a 2018 Dodge Ram Giveaway promotion throughout the month.
24K Select Club members will earn one entry for every 25 Base Tier Credits collected. As long as they are playing with a 24K Select card at any slot machine or table game from Tuesday, May 1 at 6 a.m. through Monday, May 28 at 3:59 p.m.
Additionally, members can earn 5X Bonus Entries every Sunday in May. Plus, the 5X Bonus Entries also runs Tuesdays, May 8, 15, and 22 and Friday, May 25 through Monday, May 28.
The draw for the 2018 Dodge Ram is on May 28 at 4 p.m. in the Main Atrium.
Members must activate all earned entries top qualify. They can do this from 12 p.m. to 3:59pm on May 28. Five additional members will win $1,000 in Free Play as a part of the Grand Finale drawing.
