Memorial Day Weekend has become summer’s official kickoff party, and Atlantic City’s Boardwalk casinos are preparing to throw a big one.
Things get started Friday at Caesars Entertainment’s Boardwalk properties with the organization’s Memorial Day Weekend Car Giveaway.
In fact, all Total Rewards loyalty club card holders are eligible and get one free entry into the drawing for a 2017 Ford Mustang. Plus, they can gain one additional entry for every 25 Tier Credits earned at Caesars Atlantic City casinos. Of course, this includes Bally’s and Caesars on The Boardwalk.
Players can earn entries Friday through Sunday. Plus, they can activate those entries by swiping their Total Rewards card at promotional kiosks at each property.
Two Mustangs on the block
Two drawings will be held: one at Bally’s at 6 p.m. local time and the other at Caesars at 8. Five winners will be drawn at each location, and they must be present to claim a prize. Four winners will walk away with $500 in free casino play. The grand prize winner at both Bally’s and Caesars can have either a 2017 Ford Mustang convertible or a $45,000 cash option.
Block party at the Trop
Meanwhile, Tropicana Atlantic City is turning The Boardwalk in front of the casino into its annual Free Boardwalk Block Party.
The event is set for 8 to 10 p.m. local time on Friday. As always, this annual gathering is absolutely free and features:
- Live entertainment
- Giveaways
- Multimedia light and sound shows
- Fireworks
Boardwalk Beach Ball Drop
Just up The Boardwalk at Resorts Casino Hotel, things get started a little earlier on Friday. In fact, Resorts will host the fourth annual Beach Ball Drop at 5 p.m. This event sees the casino resort drop 5,000 beach balls on The Boardwalk as a massive giveaway.
Resorts will also be running Memorial Day activities all weekend long, with live music, contests, and various games starting at 10 a.m. on Friday.

Memorial Day Cash Dash
Memorial Day weekend wraps up at Resorts with the Memorial Day Cash Dash on Monday, May 29.
The casino will randomly choose one player every 30 minutes from all active slot and table players using a Star Card between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. that day. The winners will enter the swirling whirlwind of slot cash or match play coupons on the casino floor and grab all they can. Plus, one coupon is worth $1,000.
In the meantime, the casino’s Bar One will feature DJs and $6 drink specials all Memorial Day Weekend long.
